Kerry Porter
President
Currently the District Leader for TD bank with over 21 years of experience in the banking industry, Kerry Porter (she/her) oversees and provides leadership and direction to 13 TD branches within Winnipeg and rural Manitoba, specializing in coaching and developing branch managers and colleagues to promote legendary experiences for customers and employees. Kerry is active in the community supporting various groups with a heavy focus on the United Way and giving back. TD Bank has been a member of the chamber since 2016 and a key sponsor for Winnipeg Pride.

Matt Metcalf
Treasurer
Matt Metcalf (he/him) is a Senior Manager in Commercial Banking Operations at RBC Royal Bank of Canada. Over the past 9 years, Matt has travelled, worked and lived across the world including Montreal, Toronto and Tel Aviv, Israel. He is an active member of various employee resource groups at RBC including NextGen and Pride. He also mentors new graduates entering the workforce and new to bank hires as they start their career journey. He joined the chamber on behalf of RBC in 2017.

Jenny Steinke-Magnus
Executive Director
With over 15 years of diverse experience in non-profit administration, communications, event management, and human resources, Winnipeg-born Jenny Steinke-Magnus (she/her) has built a career rooted in passion and purpose. Having completed a Bachelor of Arts in English and French linguistics from the University of Winnipeg and a Master of Arts in French Studies from Simon Fraser University, Jenny’s dedication to effective communication is evident. She also recently completed a Non-Profit Management certificate from Mount Royal University as a way to further hone her leadership skills.
Throughout her career, Jenny has made her mark in a wide range of sectors, from arts organizations to international development agencies to professional associations. Her impactful contributions can be seen in her work with Manitoba Choral Association, Rainbow Harmony Project, Prairie Voices Inc. Family of Choirs, the Promotional Product Professionals of Canada, the Pedorthic Association of Canada, and Canadian Foodgrains Bank, to name just a few. In each of her roles, Jenny has demonstrated a remarkable ability to cultivate relationships, foster collaboration, and drive meaningful change.
Jenny is driven by a deep commitment to community, inclusion, and advocacy, making her a passionate and dynamic leader in the non-profit sector. Currently, Jenny is the Executive Director of the Manitoba LGBT* Chamber of Commerce and serves as Chairperson of Creative Manitoba. She also balances freelance translation projects and independent consulting work with non-profits. In her spare time, Jenny is an avid puzzler and expresses her artistic side by singing with the Winnipeg chamber choir Ecco Singers. She enjoys spending time with her wife, Jenni, and their two rescue dogs, Willow and Winnifred.

Cec Lopez
Program Coordinator
Based on Treaty One Territory, Cec Lopez (they/them) is a has over 5 years’ experience in arts administration, education, event management, and non-profit organization. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies modified with English from Dartmouth College (New Hampshire, USA) and a Master of Arts in Music and Culture from Carleton University (Ottawa, ON). They have worked and volunteered for various arts and non-profit organizations, academic institutions, and small businesses, including Misfit Music Management/Odd Doll Records, Good + Plenty Arts Collective, Artivism, and the Broadway Neighbourhood Centre.
Cec currently serves as Program Coordinator of the Manitoba LGBT* Chamber of Commerce, owns and operates Clubhouse, a music studio in the Exchange District, and is part of the organizing team for Good + Plenty Producer’s Club, where they are passionate about working with and helping to facilitate creative practices by underrepresented and emerging artists, especially BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, low income, immigrant, and disabled artists. In their spare time, Cec makes music under the artist project “CEC” and competes internationally for the Spanish national ice hockey team.
