The chamber created this award because of the importance of tourism and hospitality to Manitoba’s economy and to encourage and recognize service and programs targeted to LGBT Travelers.
The 2018 recipient for the Tourism & Hospitality Award are our friends – Festival Du Voyageur!
As many of you know Festival du Voyageur is one of the largest winter festivals in Canada and the largest French festival in Western Canada.
Darrel Nadeau as Executive Director at the Festival du Voyageur. In his first year, he brought the LGBT* community to the festival. They organized a night of Pride and the tent was PACKED!
