The Manitoba LGBT* Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce our newly formed board. Along with continuing members Kerry Porter (President) and Matt Metcalf (Treasurer), we are pleased to announce the addition of five new board members: Shaun Castor, Antonio De Luca, Lisha Hassanali, Kathleen Murphy, and Megan Porter. Together with our staff team, our new board of directors will lead the Chamber as we grow our organization and support the 2SLGBTQIA+ business community in new and exciting ways in the upcoming months.

Kerry Porter (she/her), President, brings over 26 years of experience with TD, having held several senior leadership roles across the organization. Currently Kerry leads the Private Banking and Wealth Specialized services teams across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Matt Metcalf (he/him), Treasurer, is a Senior Manager in Commercial Banking Operations at RBC Royal Bank of Canada. He is an active member of various employee resource groups at RBC including NextGen and Pride and mentors new graduates entering the workforce and new to bank hires as they start their career journey.

Shaun Castor (he/him) is the founder of Wellness on Wheels, a Winnipeg-based mobile massage therapy company that brings high-quality care directly to homes, offices, and community spaces. With over a decade of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, Shaun is passionate about making wellness more accessible, inclusive, and flexible for clients and practitioners alike.

Antonio De Luca (he/him) is a strategic communicator and business development professional experienced across non-profits, post-secondary institutions, and government. As the Business Operations and Communication Coordinator at the Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers, Antonio leads communication and stakeholder relations initiatives that strengthen engagement across the agri-retail sector.

Lisha Hassanali (she/her) is a communications and government relations professional with experience leading public affairs in energy, telecom, and the public sector. She is part of the strategic leadership team at Keystone Agricultural Producers (KAP), Manitoba’s general farm policy organization. Her volunteer efforts and community leadership have been recognized with a Governor General’s Jubilee Medal.

Kathleen Murphy (they/them) is a Banking Advisor for Royal Bank of Canada and an active member of RBC’s Pride Steering Committee. Kathleen has extensive experience working with 2SLGBTQ+ and arts non‑profits, serving as Choir Manager, Choral Mentor, and Board Member for Rainbow Harmony Project, co‑organizer for Messiah Queered, and Digital Resource Assistant for Manitoba Choral Association; and raising funds for Sunshine House.

Megan Porter (she/her) manages a portfolio of residential and condominium properties across Winnipeg — which means she is always balancing a million moving parts and problem solving. Megan loves bringing people together and has worked closely with diverse teams and boards to get things done in thoughtful, collaborative ways.
